1. Who we are
IMCO s.r.o. ("IMCO", "we", "us") is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and through our commercial relationships. We are a B2B supplier of European specialty foods, established in the Czech Republic and operating throughout the European Union.
2. Legal basis under the GDPR
IMCO processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation). We rely on the following legal bases: contractual necessity (performance of supply agreements), legitimate interest (commercial communication with verified business partners), legal obligation (accounting, traceability, food safety), and explicit consent (enquiry forms, mailing list).
3. What data we collect
We collect business contact information (company name, contact person, role, email, telephone, country), commercial data (orders, deliveries, invoices) and, where required by food safety regulation, traceability information. We do not knowingly collect special category data.
4. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at gdpr@imco.eu.
5. Data retention
Enquiry data is retained for 24 months from the last contact unless a commercial relationship is established. Commercial and accounting data is retained for the periods required by Czech and EU law (typically 10 years for accounting documents).
6. Data sharing & transfers
IMCO does not sell personal data. We share data only with processors necessary to operate our business (logistics partners, accounting software, email infrastructure) under data-processing agreements. We do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area without appropriate safeguards.
